Deep bowls are short wide planter for shallow rooted plants.  Annuals, succulents, strawberries, some orchids and bonsai plants to name a few. Similar in function to the 'wide bowl' but for those after a little something bigger.

They are often placed on a bench or tabletop as a beautiful center piece.
